G20 Summit in Delhi: Logo
The G20 Logo represents India’s three national flag colours: saffron, white and green, and blue. It contrasts the globe with the lotus, India’s national flower that represents progress in the face of adversity. The Earth depicts India’s pro-planet lifestyle, which is in perfect balance with nature. The Devanagari script is used to create the logo.
G20 Summit in Delhi: Theme
The theme of India’s G20 presidency, “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” or “One Earth • One Family • One Future,” is taken from the Maha Upanishad, an ancient Sanskrit scripture. The idea essentially emphasises the importance of all life – human, animal, plant, and microorganism – and their interconnectedness on Earth and in the larger world.
The theme also emphasises LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), with its associated environmentally sustainable and responsible choices, both at the individual lifestyle and national development levels, leading to globally transformative actions that result in a cleaner, greener, and bluer future.
