Tension and mayhem gripped Punjab’s Barnala on Wednesday when the gruesome and horrifying double murder case of a mother and daughter in Sekha hamlet of Barnala came to light.
The event occurred in the early hours of Wednesday when unknown individuals broke into the residence in Sekha hamlet and killed the mother and daughter. The son-in-law, who is residing with the daughter and mother, has also been attacked and is in severe condition.
The deceased have been identified as Harbans Kaur (mother), Paramjit Kaur (daughter), and Rajdeep Singh (son-in-law), who is in serious condition and is being treated at the Barnala government hospital.
According to the preliminary inquiry, miscreants murdered the victim with a sharp instrument and stole the DVR from the house’s CCTV camera.
