Ambareesh Murty, the CEO of Pepperfry, died of a heart attack at the age of 51

Ambareesh Murty, a Pepperfry co-founder, died on Monday night from a heart arrest, according to Ashish Shah's tweet on Tuesday

Chandigarh, August 8: Ambareesh Murty, the co-founder and CEO of Pepperfry, died on Monday night as a result of a sudden cardiac arrest. Ashish Shah, Pepperfry’s co-founder and COO, revealed his unexpected death.

Murty’s death in Leh as a result of a heart arrest has shocked his colleagues and the business community. Shah shared his grief in a touching tweet, remembering Murty as a friend, mentor, brother, and soulmate. He asked for prayers for Murty’s soul and for support for his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Ambareesh Murty began his career in business in June 1996, when he joined Cadbury as a sales and marketing representative. Following his tenure at Cadbury, he moved into the financial sector, where he worked as VP of Marketing and Customer Service for Prudential ICICI AMC (now ICICI Prudential). His work history also includes stops at Levi’s and eBay India.
